Interim Chief Financial Officer | PE backed | Payments FinTech
We are discreetly searching for an experienced CFO to join a payments FinTech to assist the board in setting the strategy for the next phase of cost consolidation and revenue growth.
The business operates across travel, hospitality, and gaming verticals in Europe, LATAM and APAC regions. They have an enviable client list that include global brands and household names, all of whom are tied to annuity contracts and are ramping volumes and revenues. Revenues are doubling YoY and the business is expanding into new geographies, as the business grows, they need a seasoned CFO who can build robust reporting systems to ensure accurate data is collected, reported and used to make strategic decisions.
Brief overview
- Lead the company’s overall financial strategy, planning, and performance management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to support sustainable growth
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards in the payments/fintech space
- Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Analyse transaction data, revenue streams, and unit economics to inform decision-making
- Collate and consolidate financial and operational numbers into clear reports and presentations for the board
- Provide insights on financial performance, risks, and strategic opportunities to senior leadership
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on business strategy and expansion initiatives
- Lead fundraising activities, investor relations, and capital management
- Build and manage a high-performing finance team and scalable financial processes
Candidate essentials
- Significant experience in CFO positions in growing, evolving, and fast paced businesses.
- Working with PE and VC backers. Experience of collating data and presenting it at board level.
- Working with founders and creating new robust accounting systems, helping businesses through maturity / growth stages.
- Ideally available to start in April.
